THE GHOST WORE DENIM

Blurb:
Michael Brooks figured the Taylor Mansion, a two-story Colonial,
was perfect for a B&B. The only problem was the resident ghost. While
Deputy Colin Jefferson has heard the stories, he doesn’t believe in ghosts.
That is until the denim-wearing apparition pays a visit and Michael asks for
Colin’s help.
Excerpt:
I hustled down the stairs and flung the front
door open to find Colin on the step, presumably about to knock
He grinned. “Going somewhere?”
Jesus, he looked so smoking hot my knees went
weak with lust. “Um…Yes. No. What are
you doing here? I was just about to get my phone and call you.”
His left eyebrow drifted up as a smile teased
the corner of his mouth.
God, his mouth. I wanted to kiss his mouth
and nibble his lips until he moaned.
“I thought I’d stop in and see how the move
was coming along.”
“It’s done. My helpers are gone, and I’m all
in.” I licked my lips. “I even have the bed made.”
“That so?” He regarded me through sexy,
half-closed eyes as he reached out and rubbed the pad of his thumb along my
lower lip. “It just so happens I’m on a lunch break. Think we should test it
out? I wouldn’t want it collapsing on you unexpectedly. You could get injured…”
My heart stuttered then began to beat faster.
“Maybe even badly?”
“It’s very possible. And we wouldn’t want
that to happen now would we?”
I looked at his bulging zipper. “No, we wouldn’t.”
My tired feeling vanished and I chuckled. “If you can spare the time, then that
would be most appreciated, kind sir.”
“My pleasure.” Colin backed me inside the
house and used his foot to close the door. “Consider it a housewarming gift.”
“Oh, no. I want a real present. You need to
bring a good bottle of wine so we can sit out back on the patio and watch the
sunset.” I hopped up a few stairs as he carefully stalked me. The corner of his
mouth twitched as he looked at the front of my pants. There was no way to hide
a hard-on wearing these jeans.
“You want a lot, don’t you?”
I went up a few more stairs, my gaze locked
with his. “Is this the pot calling the kettle black?”
“Is it?”
I reached the second floor and made a dash
for the bedroom. He followed hot on my heels. I stepped aside and closed the
door behind him. “For a busy deputy, how much time is allotted for a lunch break?”
He unbuckled his gun belt and carefully laid
his weapon aside. “About enough for a really good hand job.”
“Perfect!” I kicked off my sneakers and
unzipped my jeans at the same time. He grabbed the bedspread and flipped it
down. I knelt on the sheet then fell over to the pillows. Colin joined me
there. I cupped the back of his head and kissed him.
Colin met me in the kiss even as his fingers
wrapped around my cock. I flattened my palm against his belly and slid my hand
down to his erection and stroked, matching the movements of his hand.
I knew this motion well. What man doesn’t?
But it was sweeter when done by a strange hand. He whispered to me to go
faster.
