"Is mom home?" Maisie asked, before taking a step forward.

"Oh yeah, for sure." After another moment of silent, awe-struck staring, Mitts turned her head and yelled, "Mom!"

"What?" a disembodied voice hollered back. "I'm on the toilet."

Mitts turned back to Maisie. "Mom's on the throne."

"So I heard."

Another voice joined the conversation. "Oh my god, Mitts, do not walk by the upstairs bathroom!" It was Maisie's second sister, Kayla, holding her nose as she descended the stairs. "Jesus, the whole hallway reeks to..."

As she spoke, Kayla's gaze settled on the open front door.

The fingers pinching her nose slid down until her hand covered her embarrassed mouth. "Oops... sorry. I didn't hear the doorbell."

"Kayla, it's Mark," Mitts said, then whipped her head around. "Shit, I'm sorry. You don't go by Mark anymore. Do you? Well, obviously you don't. Duh. That was a stupid question. I'm sorry."

"It's okay," Maisie said, though Regan could hear the disappointment in her girlfriend's voice. "You don't need to apologize. I understand."

Mitts shook her head. "No, I'm an idiot. And I can't for the life of me remember your new name."

"It's Maisie." One more voice rang out from behind Kayla. "Maisie, like my mother, your grandmother. It's a beautiful name. It's perfect."

When Maisie looked up, Regan could feel the happiness coursing through her body. "Mom!"

As Maisie bolted through the front door, her mother ran down the stairs. They met in the hallway and dove into each other's arms. Though Maisie was taller than her mother, something about the nature of their hug dwarfed her, in Regan's eyes, and she appeared as a little child.

"Mom..."

CINDERELLA LIBERTY in UNIFORM DESIRES BOX SET

Cinderella Liberty
By Cat Johnson
only in the UNIFORM DESIRES Box Set (99 cent intro pricing!)

Marine Gunnery Sergeant John "Crash" O'Malley has two goals for the immediate future. One, enjoy his liberty in New York City, and two, survive his deployment to Afghanistan. What he didn't plan on is Trish. A guy can't have a one-night stand with his best friend's sister and then abandon her at midnight when his liberty ends, but starting a new relationship days before shipping out would be crazy. Then again, Crash never did do things the easy way.

What he doesn't realize is that his friend's displeasure over Crash breaking the "no sisters rule" is nothing compared to what the insurgents have in store for them in the Helmand Province. Now it's a matter of survival because Crash's new objective is to get home and make Trish his.

CINDERELLA LBERTY EXCERPT:

"I told you she was hot." Zippy's eyes were glued to Dawn, or rather Dawn's tits, even as he spoke to Crash.
"And I told you I didn't want to be fixed up."
"Fine. Maybe I'll go for it myself. I'd forgotten how smoking she was."
Crash shook his head. Zippy going for it with his sister's best friend sounded like a recipe for disaster to him. If it ended up being a one-night stand, Zip wouldn't be able to help but keep running into the girl because of her friendship with his sister. Same thing if it turned into a longer relationship and ended badly. There'd be hard feelings and no avoiding her. Trish wouldn't like being put in the middle of a messy situation between her best friend and her brother. That was the very reason Crash shouldn't be having the thoughts he had about Zippy's sister.
Crash had never thought of Zippy as a good-looking guy. He just wasn't wired to think about a fellow Marine like that. But Trish had the same dark hair and rich green eyes her brother had, and on her it was a drop dead gorgeous combination. Add to the knockout hair and eyes Trish's long legs and tits that weren't huge but a perfect mouthful and she was his perfect type.
The damn women had outfitted her killer body to perfection too. The sundress was low enough in front to hint at some cleavage and short enough to be tasteful but still show off a tempting amount of leg.
More than looks, though, she was funny and cute and—shit, she also happened to be his best buddy's sister. Crash had to keep reminding himself of that.
Maybe it was for the best she was off limits. Crash didn't want to be tethered to a relationship back in the States while he was in Afghanistan. That too was a recipe for disaster. Separations like that were hard on an established relationship. Forget about a brand new one just getting off the ground. His last girlfriend had cheated on him while he was stateside—in the same damn town. How could he trust a woman thousands of miles away?
And her being Zippy's sister made one night of fun with her here in the city impossible. Guys didn't do that to each other. If the situations were reversed and Zippy screwed around with Crash's sister and then left for deployment without ever talking to her again, he'd knock Zippy out cold.
Pity, though. He was really enjoying Trish's company. Watching the way she put Zip in his place was the most fun Crash had had in a while. Half the time Zippy didn't even realize she was manipulating him into doing what she wanted. Yup, Trish was a smart girl wrapped up in one hell of a tempting package.
Crap. He had to stop thinking that kind of shit.

Secrets and Guys

Secrets and Guys by Giselle Renarde
When Patrick claims he's satisfied by nothing more than giving a woman pleasure, Alison doesn't believe him. They’ve only just started dating, but she's pretty convinced men are only out to use her body. Can Patrick the true romantic expand Alison's definitions of sex, love, and gender, or will his secret scare her away for good?

Warnings: This transgender love story contains throbbing hearts, explicit romance, and light bondage. Originally published as “Expanded Definitions” in the anthology “My Mistress’ Thighs.”

Excerpt:

“The trick,” Patrick told me, “is to find someone who complements you.”

My throat produced a familiar noise, something like a giggle that only comes about when you’re trying not to cry. “Yes, you really don’t compliment me often enough. I’ll feel much better if you tell me I’m pretty.”

“Of course you’re pretty, but that’s not what I’m talking about.” The off-handed compliment made my heart soar. “What I mean is that if you look for someone who’s identical to you, there are too many sames.” To illustrate his point, he withdrew his fingers from mine, only to press his fingertips against my fingertips so they exerted some pressure. “When someone’s the same as you, all the sticky-outy parts meet up and you deflect each other. You see what I’m saying?”

“Yes.” It suddenly occurred to me that this might be a break-up conversation, which I don’t think I could have handled on a first date.

“But when you meet a person who complements you—and I don’t mean this in a sexual sense—all the sticky-outy parts on you correspond to all the curvy-inny parts on them.” Patrick brushed his fingertips down a touch until his were between mine. Our fingers no longer deflected one another. Now, they snuggled in, fingers woven between fingers, until we were holding hands again. “You see? When people complement each other, they fit together so easily.”

Was he talking about us? I didn’t want to ask, but it was too early on. Instead, I sat perfectly still, gazing at our interwoven fingers as though they might open to reveal a crystal ball. Was that my future cradled in the sweating palms of our hands? I had my doubts, but I could so easily be swayed.

LIBRARIAN BY DAY!

I have a re-release that might be new to some of you, my bestselling sexy contemporary erotic romance LIBRARIAN BY DAY!

Hope you'll pick it up at this fantastic price!

WARNING: This book has sexy spankings, scorching hot love scenes and a hunky hero who knows how to wield a paddle!

Naughty by Night!

Shy, reserved librarian Jennifer Davidson has a secret side few people know about. She writes erotic spanking romances on the side. She's never been spanked herself, but when her boyfriend stumbles across one of her books, all that changes.
Nik Evans always hoped there was a bad girl hiding underneath his prim, proper librarian, but even he's surprised when they begin to explore her fantasies and he finds out just how naughty she can be.
Soon, Jennifer is embarking on a sensual journey of discovery where she learns that having her bottom warmed for real is better than anything she'd ever written about in her books.

Excerpt:

Jennifer gave her boyfriend a worried look as she set her purse down on the table in the entryway. Nik had been distracted all evening and she couldn’t help wondering if everything was okay between the two of them. Even though they’d only been dating for a couple months, she was really starting to fall for him. She hated to think tonight’s date was some sort of bizarre precursor to breaking up with her. Her heart squeezed at the thought.
Not that she should be surprised. After dating her for a while, most guys came to the conclusion she was way too reserved, especially in the bedroom. She really wasn’t. She was simply shy. It took a little while for her to be comfortable enough to be herself with them. Unfortunately, they usually didn’t hang around long enough to find that out.
Jennifer had felt comfortable with Nik right away, and the sex had been great between them from the start. Or at least, she thought so. She might not be as adventurous in the bedroom as the girls she read about in Cosmo, but she did okay. Nik obviously didn’t think so, though. Darn it, why couldn’t she be more like the heroines in her books? They never seemed to have a problem holding a man’s interest. And they were never shy in the bedroom. Or anywhere else they had sex, for that matter.
But as Nik took her hand and pulled her into his arms for a long, slow, intoxicating kiss, Jennifer told herself she had to be wrong. A man didn’t kiss a woman that way if he was going to break up with her.
When Nik lifted his head several moments later to regard her thoughtfully, Jennifer felt some of her unease return.
Here it comes, she thought, and braced herself.
“You know,” he said, reaching up to gently brush her hair back from her face. “You kept me waiting quite a long time while you were getting ready earlier.”
She frowned. O-kay. She hadn’t been expecting that. “I did?”
He nodded. “You did.”
She felt her face color. “I didn’t mean to. It’s just that I was running late at work, then I had to stop at the store…”
She caught her lower lip between her teeth. “I’m sorry.”
Nik’s dark eyes were appraising as he studied her. “I’m sure you are. But I think you might need something to help you manage your time better so you don’t do it again, don’t you? Like a spanking, let’s say.”
Jennifer blinked up at him. She couldn’t have heard him right. “Wh-what?”
“A spanking,” he said matter-of-factly. “I’ve heard it can be a very effective way to modify bad behavior.”
Jennifer’s eyes went wide at that. Who was this guy, and what had he done with her boyfriend? Before she could think of something to say, Nik took her hand in his and led her over to the couch. She was so stunned she didn’t even protest when he sat down and gently guided her over his knee so she was lying stretched out across his lap. Even if she hadn’t been robbed of speech, she wouldn’t have protested anyway. She’d secretly fantasized about getting spanked for years, so much so that she’d started writing about it, and tonight that fantasy was finally going to become a reality. But how had Nik known she wanted to be spanked?
Her pulse quickened as her boyfriend firmly place one hand on the small of her back. The simple action was enough to send a little quiver of excitement through her, and she almost let out a moan. As eager as she was for this spanking, she couldn’t help but be a little nervous at the same time. Would having her bottom reddened sting as much as she had imagined? Would she like it much as the heroines in her books did? Would she get as turned on as they did? As her boyfriend placed his other hand on her skirt-covered bottom, she realized she was about to find out.

'A Summer Bewitchment' Historical Romance by Lindsay Townsend. New Excerpt

Here's a new excerpt from my medieval historical romance, 'A Summer Bewitchment'. Elfrida, a good witch, has just completed a magic ritual while her husband Magnus has been waiting for her with plans of his own...

Magnus was not possessed but he was not himself. His face was grim, his mouth set, his brown eyes hard. Even the small gold cross in his right eye seemed to glitter. Dangerous, her witch-senses sparkled, but was she not dangerous, too? He kissed her and she took his kiss, embracing his crooked, warm lips with greedy fervor.
I have things to tell him, many things, but this moment is ours and we should take it.
“Naughty,” he warned, as she tongued and nipped his ear and throat, her fingers tracing his mouth, gliding over his body. So big he was, so strong and magnificent, so long-limbed, broad-shouldered, deep-chested, lean-thighed.
“I cannot taste enough of you,” she moaned, trembling beneath his answering caress.
His eyes darkened more and her breath stopped. She heard a ripping of cloth as he hauled off his tunic, flinging it into the growing shadows. At the back of her mind she caught the silvery whisper of the wood-elves’ approving laughter, then it was Magnus, only Magnus. She reached for him but he scooped her over, flung up her skirt and entered her.
She was ready for him. Feeling him hard and hot and thick within her, she sheathing him completely, Elfrida wanted only more. That filling, stretching rampaging. Magnus, crusading into her so she felt weak and strong at the same time. Pinned as she was, she could not move and her helplessness was strangely arousing.
“Elf, lovely elf,” he whispered against her ear, his scarred, bristly chin rasping deliciously against her cheek as he battered over and over into her.
“Goddess!” she hissed, as his pleasure met her sweet, sweet yielding.
Moonlight fell into his eyes, shimmered through her body and she was lost. Dimly, blindly, she snuggled as Magnus finally released her. Curling against his white-hot-iron heated body, she heard him mutter, “That should do it.”
Do what? she wondered, then asked, “Are you asleep?”
A long snore answered her. She said, a little louder than before, “Magnus? We have to talk.”
She felt him start against her and sigh. “You are right. Pah, my mouth is a furnace! Have we any mead left or did you use it?”
Both sorry and glad they were out of their own world, their snatched time together, Elfrida needed no reminders of the missing girls, or her responsibility to Rowena and the others. She shook the flask attached to her belt. “There is a little.”
“Good.” Magnus sat up on the woodland floor, shaking crushed bluebells off himself like water off a dripping hound, and reached for his tunic. “We talk and eat. We need a plan to rescue the girls, all of them.”
“It is not going to be easy,” Elfrida remarked quietly.
“I do not know,” Magnus admitted. “I fear you are right.” He crossed himself.
Elfrida shivered.
