New Release: Five Body Blade (Multicultural Menage)

Hot on the heels of anthologies, novels, and novellas, this week's addition to the Giselle Renarde Erotica roster is short and...not particularly sweet, actually. This is one of those stories with a bit of a ruthless edge to it, the kind I came into my career writing. Like the sword described in this story, Five Body Blade is hard and soft. Hmm...that description sort of reminds me of a certain portion of the male anatomy...five of which are featured in this new little ebook...

The "Five Body Blade" is a samurai sword hard and sharp enough to slice through five torsos in succession. For Miki, it's not only a coveted objet d'art, but also an erotic inspiration. She sees herself in the blade. Her fantasy is to take on five bodies at once. Five MEN. Toy boy Theo is apprehensive. Fortunately, she has the cash to make it happen.

Excerpt:
“Maybe I should pick up the check for this one,” Theo chuckled. “You must be dirt poor after spending all that money on a sword!”

Miki smirked, gazing at him with false coyness. “Are you my father or my lover? Dinner is my treat, as always.” Reaching across the table to touch his hand, she went on, “At any rate, I have something of a favour to ask of you.”

“Ask away,” he bid as a small bowl of gumbo arrived before him. Fancy restaurants never got it right. Was it enough that they tried, or should they strive harder for authenticity?

“Do you have five friends?” she asked.

Theo devoured an eager spoonful of gumbo, immediately regretting his haste. It burned his palate, but he couldn’t very well spit it out. He’d just have to suffer through. Taking a sip of water, he answered, “I’ve never counted my friends, but yeah, there are at least five of them. Why?”

She sat back in her chair, hands folded in lap. She hadn’t ordered an appetizer, so she just watched him eat. “I see myself in the five-body blade.”

“Polished metal usually has that effect,” he teased.

“Would you be serious for a moment?” She shot him a smirk. “I’m telling you I want to take on five bodies at once.”

His spoon tumbled to the bowl, splashing soup across his white shirt. “You want to slash five of my friends?”

“No, darling. Come to think of it, I would only need four since I already have you.” Theo’s eyes sought the exit sign until she continued, “I’m not about to slash anyone. The blade is my inspiration, not my weapon. My body is my weapon.” Tracing the gleaming steel of her butter knife with her index finger, she said, “I’ve always wanted to take on five bodies at once. Five men. You can be one, of course.”

Releasing a nervous chuckle, Theo dabbed at the soup stain with his napkin. “You’re not…you’re shitting me, right?”

“Not at all,” Miki replied. “It’s perfectly orchestrated in my mind. I’d like to use the timber table, since it’s long and narrow, but still strong enough to support the weight of two men. I think I’ll need to hang the sex swing overtop so I have enough mobility…”

“How long have you been planning this?” Theo asked, trying not to sound like too much of a prude.

“For as long as I can remember,” she confessed. “Now I have the sword. It’s time. So, can you get me four willing participants? I’m sure your college buddies could use some extra cash, if it isn’t enough to offer sex with no string attached. Not that it’s a big deal, but I would prefer four fit, gorgeous black boys. I would take four more Theos if that were possible.”

Finally, he had to express his disbelief. “Aren’t you even going to ask me if I want to be a part of this?”

She stared at him blankly before stating, “Money is no object.”

New Release: My Mistress' Thighs

My erotic transgender fiction and poetry anthology, My Mistress' Thighs, is now available in print and as an ebook. I got a copy of the print book in the mail today and, I'm telling you, it is GORGEOUS. It's all full of pictures and stuff...oh, and words too. Over 300 pages of words, in fact.

Okay, I'm giddy, but seriously--it's a wonderful collection. It looks beautiful and it's full of my favourite stories involving transgender characters who just happen to have sex sometimes. They fall in love too, and they have trepidations and they have issues, but ultimately love wins out. Isn't that the way life should be?

Excerpt from "The Public Life of Private Paulsen"

George stopped short as he approached the Grand Marigold Hotel. Pearl Paulsen! There she was, before his very eyes! His whole body felt topsy-turvy as he surveyed her, from the rhinestone brooch clipped to her mink pillbox hat, down past a matching mink coat, and all the way to her seamless stockings and high-heeled shoes.

Apart from Hollywood starlets, Pearl Paulsen was the most recognizable woman in the country. When she first returned from Europe, her photograph was smeared across the cover of every national daily. Even now she appeared in the odd newsreel, still greeted by the jeers and hisses of cinemagoers. But George never hissed, and he held to the hope that very few among the hecklers held any feelings of enmity toward poor Pearl.

And now she stood before him, chatting with the dapper men and elegant women of her sycophantic clique. Pearl Paulsen! What a glamorous girl she’d become since the war! With her blonde SwirlaWave hairdo and her deep red lipstick, she looked nothing at all like the young private George had landed beside on the beaches at Normandy.

His mouth opened and a name tumbled out. The wrong name: “Howard!”

Pearl’s head whipped around. Her gaze was hard when it met his. And then recognition sparked, thank goodness, and her expression softened. She smiled faintly at first, but her lips soon wore a full-blown grin. Excusing herself from her elite circle, she ran to George and threw her arms around his shoulders.

“Why if it isn’t good old Georgie Kensington! Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes!” Backing away to get a load of George in full military uniform, Pearl snapped up her fallen shoulder bag from the ground. Her wide smile gleamed. “How long has it been? How are you? What are you doing in the big city?”

George wasn’t terribly interested in talking about himself. His life was a bore. He’d much rather hear about hers.

“Is that fellow giving you trouble, Pearl?” one of the men from her clique called out.

“Heavens, no!” she chuckled. The late-evening sky threatened with drizzle, and Pearl grabbed George firmly by the arm and dragged him beneath the hotel’s overhang. “I would like you all to meet a darling man I served with in the army. This is Private George Kensington.”

He’d risen significantly in rank since the war, but George didn’t bother her with that information. The clique mumbled their hellos and then resumed conversations amongst themselves—all but the man who’d interrupted their reunion. “So you knew our girl Pearl on the battlefield, did ya?”

The man’s intense smile made George nervous. “We were like brothers,” he replied in earnest.

“Brothers!” Pearl released a shimmering giggle. “I certainly hope you don’t see me the same way now!”

George gazed down at his feet. “Why, no ma’am. No, I certainly don’t.”

It was no secret Pearl had once been Private Howard Paulsen—no secret to anybody anywhere. The whole country had been treated to the most intimate details of her transformation when she arrived home from surgery in Europe. “Private Paulsen went abroad and came back a broad,” the joke went. She was one of only a handful of individuals across the world who’d experienced a full change of sex, and she was famous for it.

Love Again, a Candlelight Romance

Love is a funny thing, isn't it? It happens, and it happens, and it happens...again.

My latest release, a short story from Untreed Reads' Candlelight line of literary romance fiction, is about the kind of love that happens "again"--the kind that hits you after the teen years, after college and love and marriage and kids and kids in college. The kind that sweeps you off your feet and makes you feel like you're beginning the cycle all over again. That love.

Nearly forty years after high school, Karen attends her best friend Frida's funeral and is reacquainted with Frida's younger brother. All grown up, Karl is no longer the scrawny kid she remembers. He's now suave and incredibly handsome. When Karl takes Karen back to their childhood neighborhood, with each lending the other support while laughing together in their old playground, they realize life will go on. And, they may just be together as it does.

Excerpt:
“Well, if it isn’t a sight for sore eyes!” the man in creased khakis called out, letting out a hearty laugh. Was that any way to speak at a funeral reception? She would have liked to escape, but where to? In any case, it was too late now; she’d been spotted.

“Harvey Wisniewski,” Karen replied, whitewashing her distaste with a false smile. “It’s good to see you again. You’re looking…”

“Good is an understatement!” he interrupted, shovelling coffee cake down his gullet. “Now, if memory serves me, you were a pudgy little lump of a girl back in high school. Just take a look at you now! Wowza!”

Wowza? Seriously?

“Well, that was a very long time ago,” Karen replied, half-prepared to leap over the sofa to get away from this guy. As she looked in all directions for some mode of escape, her desperate gaze fixed on a familiar face across the room. Her heart surged at the sight of him. Strange, how a man always looks his best in funeral attire.

Murmuring, “Will you excuse me?” Karen manoeuvred her way around the sofa. As she snuck away, Harvey was still rambling on about the new television he’d just bought.

The distinguished gentleman in the fine black suit offered his palm when she approached him. When he opened his mouth, it was only to speak her name, “Karen.”

“Karl.” She breathed his name, slipping her hand into his. The feel of his skin nearly made her gasp, but she quickly recovered to offer, “My sincere condolences.”

He squeezed her fingers. “I can’t believe Frida’s gone.”

“I can’t believe how long it’s been,” Karen said, relieved to have finally found someone whose depth of emotion matched the enormity of the circumstance. Frida was dead. “Doesn’t it seem like just a couple years ago we were at school together? It’s been more than thirty now. Can you believe that? I can’t. It doesn’t seem possible. The years escape us, don’t they? Frida was my closest, dearest friend and I’ve barely spoken to her since…”

She’d come over to comfort Karl—lovely Karl with the kind grey eyes, caring Karl who had just lost his sister—and now she was the one whose cheeks streamed with tears. “Oh, I’m so embarrassed,” she cried, fishing through her purse for a tissue that wasn’t already soaked with funeral tears.

“It’s only natural,” he consoled, extending a handkerchief with the initials KHW stitched in the corner.

The sight of those imperfect blue letters seized Karen’s heart. “Frida made this for you,” she stated. “She made it in Home Ec in tenth grade. I remember.”

Karl nodded. “Frida stitched it up for my fourteenth birthday.”
“I was there.” Karen burst at the sudden recollection. “I was there for that birthday, remember?”

“And I grumbled, of course, because what would a fourteen-year-old boy want with personalized hankies?” Karl asked. He chuckled forlornly before brightening at some mysterious thought he didn’t share.

Tracing her fingers across the stitching, Karen sniffed away the last of this round of tears without polluting Frida’s handmade gift. She’d rather preserve it like the Shroud of Turin than risk its ruin. Chuckling along with Karl, she remarked, “Frida never was any good at crafting. Mrs. Fairchild gave her a grade of C minus on this hanky.”

“I still have yours as well,” Karl said, almost abruptly, like he’d been preparing the line and was suddenly ready to deliver it.

Reflecting back nearly forty years, she replied with a faint, “That’s right, isn’t it? I remember I got an A plus on the assignment.” She could still see them seated at the rows of Singer sewing machines, recall the scent of food preparation as the other half of their class worked at the cookers on the far end of the room, and feel Frida’s ever-presence at her side. “It’s funny, the things you remember.”

“It doesn’t seem so long ago,” he began, staring at the yellowing scrap of cloth between her fingers. “But I suppose it was, when you think about it objectively.”

Mid-sentence, an elderly woman sitting stiffly across the room waved him over. Perceiving her need for him, Karl began by saying, “Thank you for coming. The whole family appreciates your support,” and then he shook his head as if shaking off an old habit. “I’m sorry, Karen. I’m acting as though you were just any well-wisher. You and Frida were practically sisters all those years ago.”

Gulping, she nodded. Her throat burned too badly to speak.

“Don’t go far,” he went on, easing his way across the crowded room. “We’ll catch up when I’ve done my rounds.”

Love Again is a sweet romance available now from Untreed Reads, and many other distributors such as All Romance ebooks.

Ryan slowed and steered the truck onto the access road for the ranch.
The trip had been pretty much silent, which wasn’t a surprise judging by how unhappy his passenger had looked when he’d met her at Hank’s. “Here we are.”
She finally turned from staring out the passenger window. “What do you mean, here we are?”
“We just pulled onto the ranch.”
A frown creased her pretty brow. “I don’t see anything.”
“Well not yet you won’t. It’s two thousand acres. We have to drive a bit before you see the buildings.”
“Two thousand?”
“Yeah.” Did she actually look impressed? If she had, her interest disappeared just as quickly as it had come and the puss returned… Until the lake came into view and she sat forward in her seat, gaze glued to the view.
“Wait! Stop.”
He slammed on the brakes. “What? What’s wrong?”
She’d cried out like he’d run over an animal or something, but he was pretty sure he would have noticed if he’d done that.
The minute the truck stopped she flung open the passenger door and hopped out. Cursing under his breath, he put the truck in park, turned off the ignition and followed her, only to see her making a beeline directly for the water and dropping her clothes along the way as she went.
She’d already pulled off her shirt and had just reached back and released the closure on her bra when he called out, “What are you doing?”
“Cooling off.” Glancing over her shoulder she answered him before the bra hit the grass. She kicked off her shoes and pushed her skirt down her incredibly long legs.
His brother had been right. This girl was looking for trouble and right now he suspected she was also looking for a reaction from him. Her tiny lace panties followed and then, stripped totally bare ass naked, she turned and stood before him as if challenging him to stop her.
To his credit, he didn’t give her what she wanted. All he did was cross his arms and lean against the truck. “All right. If you’re going in for a swim, then go on. I’ll wait.”
“Don’t you want to come in with me?” Her suggestive smile, not to mention her smoking hot and very nude body, could easily have lured a hundred guys into the water after her, but Ryan stood his ground. Meanwhile, a certain portion of his anatomy was standing now as well.
He let his eyes wander long enough to take note she was bare of hair as well as clothing. Not even one tiny bit of hair had been left as proof she was a natural blonde. Smooth pussy was Ryan’s downfall. He’d never been able to resist it. He better learn how now and fast.
Of course, like any good flirt, she noticed both his attention and his hard-on. She let her gaze very pointedly drop to his crotch. “Come on. You know you want to.”
He suspected she wasn’t talking just about swimming. This girl needed to be taken down a notch and he was just the man to do it. He liked a confident woman, but this one was just plain cocky.
“Nah. Thanks. I’m good.”
“Fine.” She shrugged like it didn’t matter, but before she spun away he saw the small frown knit her brow.
Ansley dove into the water. Once she was submerged, Ryan released the breath he’d been holding. As she swam across the pond and pretended to ignore him, Ryan pulled out his cell phone. His brother answered on the first ring.
“Jeremy. She’s frigging naked and swimming in our pond.”
His brother’s frustrated huff of breath was clearly audible through the phone. “Damn it, Ryan. Can’t you even get her home without something happening?”
Why did he always get blamed for everything? “What was I supposed to do? She jumped out of the truck and started flinging her clothes off. Just be glad I didn’t join her in there the way she wanted me to.”
“Just make sure you don’t.” The warning was clear in Jeremy’s tone of voice. “It’s partially my fault I guess. I gave her that second drink. I should have known too much liquor in that girl would make her even more crazy.”
Crazy. Usually that was a trait Ryan liked to see a little of in a woman, but not when he was in charge of them.
Unfortunately for him, she didn’t stay under long enough. Before he knew it, she was standing up again, and so was that uncooperative part of him. “I gotta go. She’s getting out.”
“Bring her right to the house.” Jeremy enunciated every word as if Ryan were in kindergarten.
“I’ll do my best. See ya later.” Ryan flipped his phone shut and shoved it in his pocket before Jeremy could lecture him any more.
Meanwhile every man’s fantasy had emerged from the water and was walking toward him, every inch of her dripping wet. Resisting Ansley naked was one thing, but seeing her drenched and naked was quite another. She was a literal wet dream as she paraded directly at him, bending occasionally to retrieve the clothes she’d scattered on the grass. She didn’t put them on though, just held them in her hand. He really wished she’d put them on.
“Aren’t you going to get dressed?” He needed her to be covered up, because he was starting to throb just from looking at her. It didn’t matter if she was off limits. He was a man, after all.
“I thought I’d dry off a bit first.” She stopped so close he could see every individual drop of water dripping from her hair and rolling down her high, tight breasts.
She took another step closer. Just the tip of her nipples pressed against him until he could feel the water from those glorious peaks soaking through his shirt to his skin. Reaching past him she dropped the bundle of clothes in the back of the truck, then put both hands on his chest.
Even without her shoes she was tall enough to reach his mouth by just tilting her head. Her lips hovered just inches from his as her hand traveled down to his belt buckle and stayed there.
He’d been in a similar position with a woman before and very recently too. Ryan remembered well how that had worked out with hooker Jackie and her passed out roommate at the trailer park.
Very aware of her hand resting too near to his cock for any polite girl, Ryan felt her stray another inch closer, brushing the tip of him through the denim, ratcheting his need another notch higher.
Ryan let out a long, slow breath. “What are you up to, girl?”
“Nothing.” She was so close to him, he felt her breath tickle his lips as she spoke.
Naked in broad daylight and pressed up against a man she’d just met was definitely something.

New Release: The Rococo Room by Giselle Renarde

Just in time for Friday the 13th, I've got a great little paranormal novella for you! The Rococo Room is about a small-town girl who follows the bad boy to the big city and...ends up meeting a nice guy inside a painting... You know, cuz these things happen in the city. What can I say? LOL

For the blurb and a supremely hot excerpt, read on:
When bad boy Matt leaves the small town of Port Canatangua, Delia follows him to the big city. Delia’s crazy about Matt, and refuses to believe the rumours surrounding his departure. As soon as he finds a good job, he’s sure to get in touch. Until then, Delia takes a dingy little apartment and a position as a security guard at the art gallery. When she falls asleep on the job and finds herself inside a painting alongside Jacob the handsome shepherd, she tells herself it’s just a crazy hallucination. What better place than a dream to find the man of her dreams?

Warnings: This title contains graphic language and explicit sex.

Word Count: 23,000

EXCERPT:

Matt was tall. She had to stand on her toes just to get his top over his head. Pulling it off, he threw it over the smallish bale behind her. His lean chest glowed pale blue as she traced her finger around the black lines of his killer tattoo. Skeleton. Rose. Broken heart. “What's it about?” she asked.

His pink nipples drew into tight buds as she touched his skin. “Life,” he said.

She tried to understand for herself, but life just didn't seem that painful to her. Even when things got bad, she always had hope for the future. Like when Matt first came to town and wouldn't let her hang with the group. She was young, but she waited it out. It wasn't always easy, but she made it through and everything had worked out just the way she knew it would. “It's nice,” she said. Lie.

“It's not nice,” he laughed, pressing his body against hers. Her back met the plastic wrapped around their hay bale. “It's melancholy.”

His cock was already hard. She could feel it through her clothes. Without thinking too much, she slipped her short shorts down to her ankles. She'd never done that before. She'd always kept her clothes on while digging into Matt's pants. Now she felt bare and proud. Her undies were baby blue and made of some kind of fine mesh. They cost more than she was used to paying for underwear, but they were pretty. When she bought them special in Sudbury, she knew they were the ones she'd wear when she asked Matt out to the fields.

Matt dropped his pants in three seconds flat. Though she'd seen his cock on many occasions, it seemed special this time. Something new was happening. As she reached for his tempting erection, Matt surprised her. Grabbing her wrists, he pressed them back against the bale. It happened so fast her heart raced. He didn't usually touch her much, except to pat her head while she sucked him off. Now he held her back with a generous smile on his face. “I didn't realize until now,” he said, “how much I've taken you for granted.” Easing forward, he bent to press his hard cock against her mesh bikinis. She'd never felt him against her like that before. It felt naughty and delicious. Instinctively, she pushed her pelvis at him. The base of his shaft brushed her surging clit while his tip pumped precum onto her belly. Pressing his whole self close to hers, he writhed slowly against the outside of her body.

Why hadn't she taken her top off before her shorts? She wished she could feel her bare breasts against his moist chest. Maybe best to leave it on, though, considering how sweaty the weather had gotten her. Now he had her by the wrists and all she could move was her mound against his meat. Pressing herself against him, she helped his big cock stroke her clit. It felt so good she breathed heavy against his bare neck. “It's in the back pocket of my shorts,” she whispered. “The condom.” She wanted to feel him on the inside.

He let go of her wrists, cradling his cock as he bent to sort through her pockets. While he fished around down there, she took the opportunity to tear off her sleeveless top. Her bra didn't match the panties, but in the dark there wasn't much difference between white and light blue. Thank god for the plastic wrap on the bale behind her, or she'd have hay poking into her back.

“Found it.” When Matt rose to his feet, a mesmerized smile spread across his lips. He stared into tits snuggled close together in clean lace, like they held the secrets of the ages. Reaching behind her back, she unclasped her bra. The straps fell from her shoulders as she curled them inwards. Her bra tumbled down, leaving her breasts bare to be kissed by the humid breeze. Pressing his cock against her belly, Matt cupped her pale tits in his hands. She knew he'd like them. When he squeezed, the condom packet in his left hand jabbed at her flesh. It felt good. Everything felt good. She gasped, throwing her head back against the curved hay bale. Her whole body went into spasm under his touch.

Warm precum trickled across her belly as his aroused cock pumped the creamy stuff all over her skin. “Maybe you should put on the condom now,” she suggested. She didn't want to seem pushy, but she knew it was time. Her pussy felt swollen and wet as she pressed her thighs together. When she imagined his cock coming in, a thrill ran through her.

JARED (RHB, Book 4) by Cat Johnson

Available NOW!

Red, Hot & Blue, Book 4

Everything is just right…until she turns his life upside down.

It doesn’t take anything fancy to make Jared Gordon a happy man. A slice of his mama’s pie, a pretty girl, a well-bred horse. Life on the farm is just how he likes it. Simple. Until a big city girl blows into town like a tornado hitting a trailer park.

Quintessentially small-town Pigeon Hollow has everything LA producer Mandy Morris needs for her new reality show. A smoldering deputy sheriff, a quirky diner owner and a horse farm complete with a hunky horseman. If her own instant attraction is any indication, Jared will have the female demographic glued to their sets.

Except the red-hot cowboy is cool to the idea of cameras in his face. And the harder she negotiates, the deeper he digs in…until their head-butting strikes sparks that fans a prairie fire of unexpected passion. She doesn’t usually mix business with pleasure, but as Pigeon Hollow’s charm works its magic, the youngest Gordon brother has Mandy rethinking many things.

Like happiness doesn’t have to end with the word “cut.”

Warning: Contains one hot shirtless cowboy taking a city girl for a roll in the hay…and a few other places.

This book has been previously published and has been revised from its original release.

EXCERPT (PG)

Jared sat again and grabbed his beer, refusing to even look as the bar door swung shut behind Mandy.
Bobby, however, watched her dramatic exit with an amused expression on his face. “She’s hot for you.”
“Are you fucking crazy?” Jared had nearly choked on his beer at that suggestion. “She’s only here to get her damn show made. She just made that more than obvious.”
Here Jared had been thinking Mandy was flirting with him because she liked him. How stupid could he be? Letting out a bitter laugh, he wondered exactly how far she’d been willing to take her little come-on to get him to agree to the show. He didn’t want to consider the answer to that question. He’d really liked her, proving he was a stupid man.
Bobby shook his head. “Nope. Well, yeah, she wants this show made, but she could pick another town if she really wanted to. You heard the stories she told us. There’s a ton of places more interesting than Pigeon Hollow. I think she’s so attached to this town because of you.”
“No, you’re wrong. She is single-minded and conniving and the only reason she sashayed her butt in here in those tight jeans tonight is so I’d agree to her show.” Jared was willing to bet she would have wiggled right out of those jeans too, all for her show.
“Why conniving? She never kept it a secret she wants this show done here. And she was right. She didn’t say anything that bad about you to me just now. I don’t know why you’re so pissed.”
Jared couldn’t admit he was pissed because he’d believed she was here for him, not the damn show.
That’s what it had been all about. Her staring at his chest today while he was unloading the hay. The flirting, pretending she wasn’t coming to the bar. Even her getting him hard with that damn foot of hers under the table. It was all about the show. Always had been, always would be. The more he thought about it, the angrier he got.
Jared slammed his beer bottle down onto the table and stood. “I’m going over there to the Hideaway and giving her a piece of my mind.”
“You really want to do that?” Bobby raised a brow.
“Hell yeah, I do. Why?” There would be no way he’d sleep a wink tonight until he told her exactly what he felt about her and her lying city ways, and Jared Gordon did not lose sleep over any woman.
Bobby shrugged. “Just making sure you know what you’re doing. You got a condom in your pocket?” More than one actually. That had been wishful thinking on his part when he’d left the house tonight, back when he thought Mandy was a decent person. “What the hell does that have to do with anything?”
“Just answer the question.”
Jared sighed. “Yes, I do. What are you my father?”
“No, I’m not. Thank God.” Bobby shook his head.
Jared frowned deeply at his friend’s strange behavior. “Watch my beer, will ya? I’ll be right back.”
Bobby laughed. “Yeah, okay.”
Was that sarcasm? He’d have to deal with Bobby later. Right now, he had other fish to fry.
Jared held on tightly to his anger until he’d made it across the parking lot. He found her rental car parked in front of the end unit. It was the only room with the lights on. It was probably the only room with an occupant.
Confident he had the correct door, he knocked loudly before he had a chance to think and change his mind. When she opened the door wearing nothing but a short slip of silk, he stopped thinking all together.
He supposed he stepped into the room, although he didn’t really remember doing so. Somehow, the door was closed behind him and Mandy was standing so close, she was practically pressed against him.
Grasping for the reason he was here, he finally came up with it. “You pissed me off tonight, darlin’.”
“You’ve pissed me off every day since I met you, Jared Gordon.”
Her blue eyes blazed into his. At six feet plus a few inches more in his boots, Jared towered over
Mandy, but she didn’t back down, or back up, even an inch. Jared swallowed hard when his glance hit upon the hardened nipples protruding through the painfully thin silk of whatever it was she was wearing.
He tried to wrestle his eyes up. “Put something on so I can yell at you.”
She snorted out a laugh. “No. You can just yell at me in what I’m wearing.”
“Damn it. Why are you so stubborn?”
“Ha! You should talk.”
He fisted his hands at his sides to avoid grabbing her. Whether he wanted to shake her silly or kiss her breathless, he wasn’t sure. The desire was equally strong to do both. “I’m so angry at you I can’t think straight.”
Yet he still wanted to fuck her until she couldn’t walk. That realization made him even angrier.
“You’re so angry at me? That’s rich.” She glared at him with defiance. “You, Jared Gordon, are a stubborn, chauvinistic, backwoods—”
Mandy never finished her sentence. It was as if his body moved faster than his brain, and before Jared knew it, his mouth covered hers. Once his brain caught up, there was a small nagging instinct that this was probably a really bad idea given his current mood and the fact she was a conniving, lying, single- minded…sexy-as-all-hell city girl.

NEW RELEASE - CROSSING THE LINE

Crossing The Line
by Christiane France
ISBN-13: 978-1-61124-109-9 (Electronic)
Cover: Trace Edward Zaber
http://www.amberquill.com/AmberAllure/CrossingLine.html

Blurb:
Rather than embarrass his wealthy family by admitting he’s gay, Alexander Derkeston solved the problem by publicly conforming to their upright, uptight lifestyle as set forth by the first Derekston back in the late 1800’s, and inventing a second, shadowy life on the side.
Even after his parents are killed in a traffic accident and the pretence is no longer necessary, Alexander still continues to follow family tradition and keep his private life private. Then the family chauffeur retires, and Wil Forrest is hired in his place.
Wil is young, hot, sexy, almost certainly gay, and Alexander wants him. Desperately! But Wil is an employee, and when he suggests the two of them go clubbing together, Alexander is horrified. Old Abner Derekston had two rules the family has always lived by...one, never cross the line by getting overly familiar with the help, not if you want to maintain their respect, and two, if you want something, go for it.
Is there a way Alexander can have his cake and eat it, too?
Excerpt:
…Wil snapped his head around. “Excuse me?” He hesitated, frowning. But in less than a second the frown disappeared and a smile slowly covered his face. A smile so warm and so special it made Lex oblivious to everyone and everything except the two of them. He wanted to reach out and touch and be touched in return. He wanted—
“Hey, this is great, boss. You decided to come after all.”
“You didn’t think I would?”
“No way. And I’m not going to ask what made you change your mind. I hoped you would, and now I’m just glad you did. Really glad.”
The sudden brightness in Wil’s dark eyes and the depth of emotion in his voice caught Lex by surprise. He and Wil worked together just fine, and they were on friendly enough terms bearing in mind the boss employee relationship, even so… “You are? Why’s that?”
“Because …” Wil averted his gaze. “Obviously you’re gay or you wouldn’t be here. Same goes for me, but…”
“But what?”
“I want you. I haven’t stopped imagining the two of us together since the first time I drove you to the store.”
“Really?” Lex felt a sudden heightening of tension between them, as if something was about to explode. He wanted Wil more than he’d ever wanted anyone. He’d wanted him for weeks, he just hadn’t admitted how he felt until today, and he hadn’t thought past that. Not for one moment had he stopped to think how Wil might feel. And even in his wildest dreams he wouldn’t have thought there was a chance the wanting might be mutual. “I had no idea. I…”
“If you’re not interested, just say the word and I’m outta here.”
“If I wasn’t interested I wouldn’t be here. Okay?”
“In that case…” Slipping an arm around Lex’s shoulders, Wil steered him past the bar and onto the crowded dance floor.
The band was playing something slow and sexy. It was one of Lex’s favorites, but he couldn’t remember the title and he didn’t even bother trying. There was barely enough room to do more than shuffle their feet, but the moment he and Wil wrapped their arms around one another it was like being trapped inside a magic bubble. Everything disappeared except the man he was with and the moment. Their mouths met, tongues tangled, and he felt the heat of Wil’s body, the evidence of his arousal which was every bit as apparent as his own, and Wil’s own intoxicating scent as it invaded his senses and took over his mind. He wanted him so badly his chest felt constricted and he could barely breathe.
He felt Wil tugging at the zipper of his jeans, then his hand was inside, touching and stroking. Lex usually prided himself on his control, but the slight roughness of Wil’s fingers against his sensitive flesh caught him by surprise and he pushed away Wil’s hand, just in time...

New and Just $0.99! THE POSTMAN ALWAYS COMES TWICE!

I'm so excited! I've got a new book out and it's just $0.99 on Amazon Kindle, B&N Nook, and at ARE! It's called THE POSTMAN ALWAYS COMES TWICE and it's fun, sexy and smokin' hot!

I actually came up with idea while my hubby and I were out walking our dog. We were talking about my book GOOD COP, BAD GIRL and how popular books about cops are when the UPS man drove by. I said I wondered if women get hot for all men in uniform, like a UPS driver. My hubby said, or even a postman. I laughed and said, sure, the postman always comes twice. We looked at each other and both said, that'd be a great name for a book! So there you have it!

This postman is carrying one hell of a package!

Charisma Harlow has been lusting after her hunky postman Travis Walker ever since he started delivering her mail a few months ago. In fact, she’s so hot for him, she finds herself ordering things online so he’ll show up more often. When her subtle flirting doesn’t do the trick, she decides to finally get serious and seduce him outright. She orders the heaviest thing she can find so he’ll have to bring it inside her apartment, then greets him at the door in nothing but a short, sexy robe when he shows up.

Travis gets the message and spends his lunch hour proving he really knows how to deliver—in the bedroom.

Exerpt:

There, standing on her doorstep, was six-foot-four inches of gorgeous stud. She would never have imagined the button-up shirt and blue trousers that made up the postal service uniform could be so damn sexy on anyone, but on Travis, it looked
hot as hell. She supposed it could have something to do with those impossibly broad shoulders and muscular biceps. Damn, he was built.

She could tell from the way he took in her robe he was surprised she wasn’t wearing her usual tank top and pajama bottoms. His golden eyes caressed the curve of her breasts for a moment before lingering on her long legs, and Charisma felt heat pool between her thighs at the flicker of lust she saw there. To her dismay, he immediately hid it behind a façade of professionalism.

“It looks as if I have another delivery for you,” he said, holding out the electronic clipboard. “What did you buy this time?”

“A spinning bike.” She glanced at him form under her lashes as she signed her name in the signature block. “It looks really heavy. Do you think you could bring it inside for me?”

He flashed her his usual heart-stopping grin. “No problem.”

As he bent to pick up the big box, Charisma stepped back so her could come into the
apartment.

“Where do you want it?” he asked.

Anywhere you want to give it to me. She blushed at the naughty thought as she closed the door. “If you could put it in my home office, that would be great. It’s down the hall on the right.”

Even though the box was obviously heavy, Travis had no problem carrying it, Charisma
noticed. She had no problem admiring his great ass as she followed him down the hall, either. She caught her lip between her teeth to stifle a moan.

“Is this okay?” he asked as he set the box down in one of the few open spaces left in the room.

Between her desk, the built-in bookcase, file cabinets and the boxes of stuff she’d bought over the past couple weeks, floor space was definitely at a premium. She’d been so busy with work and ordering things online she hadn’t had a chance to open most of the boxes yet.

“That’s fine,” she said. “Thanks.”

He looked around the room, his mouth quirking. “You certainly buy a lot of stuff.”

She felt her face color at the amusement in his deep voice, and she reached up to tuck her long, dark hair behind her ear in an effort to hide her embarrassment. “Yeah, I guess I do. Fortunately for my bank account, I end up sending most of it back.”

His gaze scanned the boxes again before coming to rest on the rectangular box on the
edge of her desk. He studied the contents for a moment before reaching inside to pull out the hot pink vibrator she’d gotten a week ago.

Her lips curved into a smile. Score, she thought. She’d purposely left it there in the hopes he would see it. So much for rusty flirting skills.

He gave her a sidelong glance and her pulse fluttered when she saw that the lust she’d noticed earlier was back in his mesmerizing golden brown eyes.

“You aren’t planning on sending this back, are you?” he asked.

“I’m not sure. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet.” She gazed up at him from under her lashes, giving him her best flirtatious look. “Too bad you have mail to deliver. You could have stayed and helped me take it for a test drive.”

Charisma had never been so bold with a guy before, but since her subtle attempts at
flirtation hadn’t worked, she didn’t want there to be any confusion she was coming on to him. Even so, the words made her blush a little. They hadn’t even gone on a date and she was already inviting him into her bed.

Travis’s mouth curved into a sexy grin. “I was actually going to take lunch after I
delivered your package anyway, so I’m off the clock for the next hour. I could hang
around if you think I might be able to help.”

Her heart did a backflip. She had to admit, she hadn’t expected her plan to actually work.

“Really?”

“Really.”

“Are you sure it’s okay? To spend your lunch hour with a woman on your mail route, I
mean?”

He took a step closer, his grin broadening. “It’s perfectly okay. Satisfaction is our number one priority at the Postal Service, you know.”

Excerpt:
Gabe helped Minx up from her chair. “When are you leaving Vegas?”

“Sadie and I drive back sometime tomorrow afternoon. What about you?”

“I fly out tomorrow night.”

When they entered the hotel, the cool air-conditioning bit at her. He must’ve noticed her shudder for he placed his arm around her nearly bare shoulders.

She sank back against him, grateful for his warmth and for the solid feel of him.

They both were quiet as they rode up to the seventh floor in the bank of elevators.

All too soon they stood by her hotel room. Minx eyed the door and gulped down her nervousness. Should she invite him inside? What if Sadie was already in bed?

Minx glanced up at him with her invitation pasted on her lips.

He stretched his arm out to the doorframe, then leaned in close to her. “I’ll say good-night now, Minx, with one stipulation.” He was so close, they shared the same air.

“Stipulation?” she repeated. Her voice sounded husky to her ears.

“Mmm.” He trailed his lips over the shell of her ear.

Whoa. She almost died from the sheer pleasure of it.

“Yeah, and the stipulation is that you’ll go out with me as soon as possible.” He nibbled his way down the length of her neck. “Tomorrow’s out, but what about Monday night?”

Her knees buckled, her heart pounded, her nipples hardened with desire. It took all her willpower to focus on the physical act of speaking.

“Um, Mon-Monday’s fine.”

“Good. I’ll call you.” Gabe brushed his lips against hers, then pulled away. “Now don’t forget.”

As if she could!

He turned around, walked down the corridor and into the waiting open elevator. Only when the elevator doors swished closed, did Minx move from her position.

Good God, that man was sex personified. Wiping sudden perspiration from her forehead, she slipped her card key into the door and stumbled into her room.
