Excerpt from The Lady is a Vamp by Ericka Scott

His mouth nibbled delightfully on the inside of her thighs while his fingers caressed the swollen flesh of her sex. If only he would delve those talented digits deep into her pussy. Perhaps then, she could finally achieve the orgasm that hovered just out of reach.

With a moan, she turned over.

The slow, subtle beat of a heart penetrated her sleep, rousing her from the lust-filled dream to wakefulness and hunger. She opened her eyes to pitch darkness. The basement room she now called home had no windows, but she knew it was still daylight outside just the same. However, she could also sense that sunset approached. In a few short hours, she would be able to go forth and feed. The sound of the heartbeat made her fangs lengthen with desire. Then she realised it wasn’t just anyone’s heartbeat but the sound that had haunted her dreams for a year now.

Royce.

She missed him so much. Even after a year, just thinking about his long, lean frame, boyish demeanour and gorgeous cock sent a jolt of desire zinging through her. With little to no effort, she could still remember the feel of his hands on her skin and the taste of his kisses. Seduction and sex. She slipped her hand between her thighs and pressed against her mons. Goodness, the man still affected her. Her panties were damp, and her pussy throbbed. With a sigh, she pulled away her hand.

If she had a heart, it would be breaking right about now. Poised on the brink of true happiness, it had been stolen from her. And for what? Money. Anger bubbled up inside her. She’d been used. Her damnation and disappearance had been manufactured in order to manipulate the outcome of a stupid game.

The sound of another heartbeat intruded on her thoughts. Someone was coming. She closed her eyes and concentrated. To her surprise, she recognised the flow and thump of blood—a sound as individual as a fingerprint—of this approaching figure, as well. The Hunter.

Legendary among the vampire community, The Hunter was feared by all. If the rumours were correct, he was supernaturally strong, and once he had you in his sights, you were a dead vamp walking. When she’d first been turned a year ago, her adaptation counsellor had pointed the man out in a crowd. She’d caught a glimpse of a broad back and a head covered by a signature black cowboy hat. Unable to see his face, she’d memorised the only identifiable feature she could sense. His heartbeat.

With a gasp, she sat straight up in bed and hurriedly swung her legs over the side. The main door was locked, but she wasn’t sure how long that would keep him out. She only had a few moments to gather her belongings, for now that her lair had been discovered, she wouldn’t be able to return.

Damn it. How had he found her?

Her hands shook as she shoved her clothes into a small duffle bag. They were followed by her spare shoes, a handful of cash and the card that falsely identified her as Kyra McKenna. The name was close enough to her real one, Kylie McKenzie, to make it easier to answer to.

Was that how he’d found her?

She shivered both with cold and fear when she heard the footsteps arrive at the door. The pounding on the wooden panels made her start, and she stifled a gasp. Must hurry.

Grabbing her bag, she took one last look around. She’d hated living here, but now that she had to leave, she realised she was going to miss it. Oh well, she’d find another abode. Hopefully, before the scorching sun of the Las Vegas desert turned her to dust.

With a sigh, she closed her eyes and concentrated on finding the panel to the secret passageway that joined up with a less glamorous Las Vegas—the vampire underground, a series of tunnels and rooms secreted under the streets and casinos. She’d been taught the spell to open and lock the escape route when she’d first moved in, but never thought she’d have to use it. To her relief, the panel slid open at her whispered words. She slipped inside and began the spell to close and lock it.

Just in time.

As it clicked shut, she heard the crack and thud of the door to her room breaking. Without a backwards glance, she hefted her duffle bag and started walking down the dark tunnel. About twenty feet in, she spoke one more word. Dust swirled around her as the passageway behind her soundlessly collapsed.

Rated X-Excerpt from Being Familiar With a Witch

ISBN: 978-1-60659-118-5

Warning: This title contains hot, graphic demonic sex that goes beyond magic.

Blurb:
Tina doesn't know she's a witch. It will take Charun, her demon Familiar, to convince her to make love with him and let loose her witch powers.
For if she doesn't, then with the demon army about to bring Armageddon to the Mortal Realm on Halloween, she won't stand a chance in Hell.

A year later, Charun stood in front of the mirror on the wall and whispered a few words. The glass warped in and out, becoming something not unlike a television monitor. In it, he saw his witch working in the Cup of Tea and a Book bookstore, handing a bag of books over to a customer.

"She's gorgeous," he whispered.

He ached to reach his hand through the glass and finger the long, blonde strands of her hair. He itched to stroke the skin of her face and see if it felt as soft as it looked. He took a few steps back, for if he didn't he would jam his head through the glass and kiss her on the lips. His cock expanded, growing longer and harder than ever before. Lust tore through him like a ravenous animal ready to devour its prey.

The time had come.

About time, too.

Taking spirit form and not looking back, Charun rose from the bowels of Hell to the mortal realm. He touched ground just down the street from Cup of Tea and a Book bookstore and became a handsome, naked man. His staff waved before him like a proud, hissing snake, spitting even as precum beaded at the slit. He shook his head. No, it was too soon for him to assume the man form. He frowned, thinking.

A cat!

He would become a cat. That would do—for now. Just not a horny tomcat, as the pain of his arousal washed over him. He dodged into a nearby alley and worked his organ, biting his lips when he came.

Withdrawing his hand from his flaccid penis and using the other to prop himself against the building, he spoke in demon, "Denoch er nomonaty."

A strange feeling slammed into him and he cried out as he dropped to his knees on the pavement. Thrusting out a hand against the ground so he wouldn't topple over, he began to metamorphose, growing smaller and smaller as he did. Black fur sprouted all over his body and head. His ears sharpened into points and shot up over his head, while his hands and feet became paws edged with sharp claws. Whiskers pinged out of his cheeks, and from his buttocks snaked a long tail. He hunched over and then fell over onto his ass. Within seconds, his metamorphose completed, he was a black cat. Resisting the peculiar urge to wash his face, Charun stretched and rose onto all four paws. He padded over to a puddle of rainwater to inspect the change.

He sat down and viewed his reflection. Not bad looking as far as cats went. Lifting a paw, he splashed his image. Then he trotted to the street and paused to sniff the air. He sneezed as the full force of odors hit him. A multitude of different things, from the smell of blasted sunshine to the grime of city life. The lack of moisture in the air revealed that it would not rain for days. The last time it had stormed was last week. He had arrived a day too late.

He needed heavy rain to make his first appearance to his witch, as a reason for her to feel sorry for him and take him in. From what he remembered, she would not leave any animal drowning in a torrential downpour. But, from all the viewing he did of her growing up he knew she wasn't an impulsive person, either. She loved animals, but felt that she couldn't afford one right now in her life. He might end up in an animal shelter. This kind of operation needed the right things in place.

Timing was important, too, even now. His witch's survival was the true equation here. If she died before he made her a witch, he knew the fate for Earth if the demons took over. There was the matter of his lust for her, too. Relieving it wouldn't be bad, either.

He cocked his head and twitched his ears. He was a demon, with strong magic. Closing his eyes, he let his magic surround him with a shimmering golden light.

Lano'ste. Na la por lestano.

His fur stood on end, crackling. He widened his eyes as the magic burned within and outside with a violent heat close to atomic. It clenched his insides with an excruciating pain. He fell onto his side and barely noted when it shot away from him, heading toward the blue skies. It dusted the few white clouds drifting along and they became obsidian and pregnant with rain.

Still unsteady, he rolled onto his stomach and waited until the power quieted. Charun breathed in the rain's odor and gave a Cheshire cat grin. He rose to his paws and padded off as the sound of thunder vibrated in the air.

Fuck the weather forecasters and their predictions. With magic, he'd just turned their Doppler radar upside down.

Bitten, coming in February

This is an excerpt from Bitten, an erotic paranormal romance by Tracey H. Kitts, coming in February to New Concepts Publishing.

How do dead men attract so many live women? I can’t for the life of me understand it. It was Halloween night, and I was yet again trying to unravel this mystery. I might have had more success without the alcohol. But, I’d been suckered into the whole situation anyway.

I was at a bachelorette party in a club called Lucy’s. Who the hell has their bachelorette party on Halloween night? My friend Karen. While I watched the tall, leggy blond celebrating her last night as a free woman, I got distracted by … the wildlife.

One of the main attractions at Lucy’s was its dancers. Taking center stage was a luscious piece of meat by the name of Alex. He was a weretiger. I knew this because he’d purred at me earlier. His lithe body moved easily to the music, like a well oiled machine. He was beautiful, but I didn’t pay much attention. While he gyrated to some of Ms. Lennox’s greatest hits, I found what sweet dreams were made of, and it wasn’t on stage.

He was around six feet tall with long auburn hair and the most magnificent backside I’d ever admired. I couldn’t wait to see what the front looked like. While I took in the view, the lyrics of the song combined with my blood alcohol level made me think I might like to be used by him. Better yet, I might even like to abuse him.

Whoever he was, I was willing to bet he wasn’t human. The really hot ones rarely are. Everyone knows Lucy’s isn’t run by humans, though the patrons are almost exclusively human, but I was still surprised to come across someone so obviously … other.

As I watched him, I knew he was aware of my gaze. How could he not be? As my grandmother would have said, I was “staring a hole through him.” On my way to the restroom, I had to force myself to look away from the redheaded stranger before I ran into a table.

My red dress was still in good shape, even after a night of bar hopping with a bunch of drunken twenty somethings. It was strapy and short, but not short enough to look slutty. The color went well with my dark hair and I ran a hand through my long wavy locks as means of freshening up. After rummaging in my little red evening bag, I powdered my nose and reapplied lipstick before leaving the restroom. If that tall, handsome … whatever he was decided to look my way, I wanted to give him something worth looking at.

I reentered the main room, and he turned toward me as if he’d read my mind. His hair fell in a silken mass about his shoulders as he turned. His eyes were a stunning shade of green which matched his shirt perfectly and complemented his hair. I admit, I have a weakness for redheads, but this one made me literally weak.

The top few buttons on his shirt were undone and I tried not to stare at the pulse in his throat as he approached. My smile just wasn’t working and I’m sure I looked as nervous as I felt. Before he could get closer, I walked out the back door. Yes, I know it was a cowardly thing to do, but I wasn’t about to pick up a strange preternatural being. I’d also had quite enough of the party and was taking out my cell phone to call a cab when I froze.

Something was coming toward me. I looked around and realized I’d walked out into a dark alley. Stupid is too mild a word. Whatever it was, it growled as it approached, and I saw amber eyes glowing in the darkness.

“Going somewhere?” a deep voice growled.

Before I could answer I was pinned against the wall. My cell phone fell to the ground along with my purse. A werewolf had flung himself at me and was pinning me by the throat against the wall. I could barely breathe, let alone summon up a scream.

He leaned in and began to sniff my midriff as if he were breathing in a steak on the grill. But before he could bite into my flesh, he was gone. I hit the ground and stared in numb shock as the redheaded stranger flung the werewolf down the alley as if he weighed nothing.

The wolf yelped like an injured dog and ran, but my savior didn’t pursue. As the stranger turned to me, his eyes glowed as well and with his long hair now covering his face, they were all I could see.

“My name is Navarre,” he said, and his voice was like velvet. “I don’t know who you are Miss, but you should stay out of dark alleys.”

“I’m Sandra.”

“Well, Sandra, it looks as if my dinner has escaped this evening.”

Then I understood. He was a vampire. I looked into his eyes once more and knew what Navarre wanted as a reward. I tilted my head and instantly felt his lips pressed against my throat. I’m not sure the exact moment he bit me. Excitement and arousal coursed through my veins like the greatest thrill. He smelled of expensive cologne and his hair fell across my face as he embraced me. Just as the pleasure became almost too much, I felt the slightest pain, and he withdrew from me.

Navarre thanked me for my generous reward, and I made it home safely that night.

Warning! Excerpt Rated X

Can you take it rough?”

His comment inflamed Maggie. She made an attempt to respond, but the only sound that came out was a pitiful whimper. She wanted him to kiss her, wanted to feel that firm, masculine mouth on hers as he devoured her lips. But she sensed he was using every ounce of strength he possessed to hold on to his control. There was no disguising the state of arousal he was in. Could she push him over the edge?

Did she want to?

The answer was yes.
She spread her thighs and arched the lower half of her body against his, shocked at her boldness. They’d only met the day before and she wasn’t in the habit of sleeping around. Yet that didn’t lesson the fierce desire coursing through her. She watched the pupils in his eyes dilate. He thrust back, his erection slicing between Maggie’s thighs and over the swelling bud of her arousal. She cried out, bit down on her bottom lip and clenched her thighs together, entrapping him.

He lowered his face and Maggie was certain he was going to kiss her. She caught her breath, meeting him half way. As soon as Matt’s mouth touched hers he seemed to lose control. Growling low in his throat, his passion forced her deeper into the bed. The stubble on his face heightened the pleasure of his rough kiss, and Maggie opened her mouth eagerly to his thrusting tongue.

Ohmigod! Fire replaced the blood in her veins. She was aware of nothing, yet aware of everything at the same time. Her hands began to roam over Matt’s hard muscles with growing ardor, encouraging him to do whatever he wanted. She felt her heart pounding out of control, very attuned to where his hands were slowly roaming. Her breasts swelled in his palms, aching with pleasure. His thumbs flicked over her nipples, causing Maggie’s hips to twist out of control. Her body was demanding he make love to her. And she thought she was going to get her wish when his caresses glided over her body with mounting aggression.

Oh! Before Maggie could brace herself his hands closed over her hips and he began to pull her sharply against his erection. He felt huge and hot sliding over her wet crotch, the friction causing her desire to build to an unbearable level. His mouth left hers to travel down her throat and over her shoulders, leaving a trail of wet heat against her flesh. Moaning with desire, Maggie arched her back when Matt’s mouth burned a searing path down to her breasts, suckling her taut nipples through the material of her thin nightgown. Suddenly it seemed like his hands and mouth were everywhere at once. Demanding, satisfying, hungry for more.

All at once he jerked back. “I want to feel your hand on my cock, Maggie.”

His rough comment set her blood on fire. She worked her hand between them until reaching her prize. Her hand enclosed the satin encased steel, and her eyes widened, meeting his. She’d only guessed at his size before. Oh my! She soon discovered by running her hand up and down his torrid flesh that Matt didn’t lack in length, either.

He lost control for a moment, closing his eyes and groaning deep, thrusting into her hand. A shudder racked his body as Maggie tightened her grasp. She couldn’t remember a time feeling so hot and hungry. And the flesh pulsing in her hand would more than fill the need in her. Then she pulled him close and ran the tip of his dripping penis over her wet mound. His eyes bolted open.

“Damn!” His hand moved beneath her short gown to her thong, tearing the fragile silk away from her body with an easy tug.

Her breath caught, and before Maggie was able to recuperate Matt moved abruptly to his side, dragging her with him. He pulled her close to his body, arranging their position so that his penis was nestled between her thighs. He thrust gently, as though enjoying the friction, but didn’t enter her like Maggie yearned for him to do. Moaning with hunger, she arched her buttocks into him, silently encouraging him to take her. She couldn’t bear the teasing any longer.

“Oh, God…please!”“Tell me what you want.” He mouthed the words against her neck, his warm breath sending a rivet of pleasure through her. “Tell me where you want me.”

Didn’t he know? Couldn’t he tell? She’d never had to vocalize during love making before. “Make love to me, Matt. It’s been so long…” Maggie let her words trail off, moving suggestively. She could feel his hot flesh at the very gates of her womanhood, teasing her mercilessly with long strokes of pleasure. “Please!” She felt her orgasm building and gasped for air.

Matt shuddered behind her. He moved, and Maggie wasn’t aware of what he was doing until she felt his hand against her backside, moving downward. The next thing she was aware of he was guiding his flesh to the opening between her legs...

4 Pixies!...Tory Richards weaves a compelling tale of love lost and found between a woman who has every reason to fear men and their emotions and a man whose heart has been too terribly burnt.

Madame Dione de Celeste, Proprietress

Plantation House, Arcadia Island

She'd made up her mind to attend as soon as she had the fake card in her hand.

And that's how she managed to be there, dressed in her finest white silk gown, waiting her turn to walk the gangplank off the boat. Around her, a dozen or so equally resplendent men and woman milled around. There had been very little conversation on the way over, it seemed even the wealthy liked to keep their quirks and kinks to themselves. Only when they'd drawn into the bay had conversation erupted.

A tall, beautifully pale woman said in a breathy voice, "It's lovely isn't it? Twice here and I'll never get over how incredible the island is."

A deeply tanned young man, dressed in a black silk suit, that must have cost a month's wage for Syne, replied, "Yeah, it's pretty amazing. When you think that everything had to be shipped in, you realize just how rich this guy is."

The island was breathtaking. The long, white sandy beach rose from the crystal blue waters of the bay. Lush tropical ferns carpeted the area a few dozen yards from the shoreline, and tall trees she had no name for, loomed high overhead further inland. Some looked like willows and others were some kind of palm, but she couldn't tell what kind, and really didn't care. A well-swept wooden walkway led up the beach and into the trees.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ares, and I'll be your guide," came the voice of an incredibly tall, incredibly well built black man, dressed in a flaming red sarong slung low on his hips and nothing else. He stood at the end of the gangplank, off to one side in the white sand. "Please, come ashore. It's a short walk to the plantation house, where rooms and refreshments await you all. Please present your invitations as you pass me."

Syne stood back, allowing the other partygoers to push past her. When she was left standing alone, she took a deep breath and walked across the gangplank, praying David's work would pass muster. Standing in front of the black man, she was astounded at just how big he was. At five-feet seven inches herself, he towered over her by at least a foot. His midnight-black skin shone. He looked as if he'd oiled himself. Hairless, his chest and arms rippled with muscles and his six-pack would be the envy of any man she'd ever known.

"Thank you, Milady." His voice was as soft as melted butter, and as smooth. Taking her invitation, he glanced at it and smiled, then slipped it into a fold of his sarong. Nodding, he checked the gangplank before asking, "Is there anyone else?"

First ever excerpt of Eden

The following is an excerpt from Eden by Tracey H. Kitts, coming in April to New Concepts Publishing.

Catrina's world is turned upside down the moment she agrees to Viktor's plan. Who even knew that Abraham Van Helsing had a younger brother? Not only that, but a brother who was turned by the King of Vampires and who held such obvious power. Now she must deal with the consequences of her actions and an attraction she can no longer deny.

Excerpt:

"No visitors during the day," he deep voiced guard said firmly.

Catrina looked over her shoulder at the sunset.

"It's dusk," she said softly. "And Viktor is expecting me."

She stepped forward and handed the card Viktor had given her to the guard. The address was printed on the front in an intricate swirling font and on the back was his signature.

"Fine, then," the guard said, stepping aside as he opened the door. "Wait in the lobby."

Her heels clicked loudly on the highly polished floor, echoing in the silence of the large room. A young man was hurrying about, lighting what looked to be hundreds of candles. Tall marble columns reached to the high ceilings and the furniture looked to be Victorian in style. As she got closer she decided that the furniture was Victorian and it wasn't fake.

"Who have you come to see?" another young man asked before she could sit down.

"Viktor Van Helsing."

"I shall inform him," the boy said with bow.

About twenty minutes later, Catrina was still admiring the architecture when Viktor entered the room. She felt him before he came into sight and began to put up her shields. Her heart tried to race, but she slowed it. Her palms began to sweat, but she wiped them on the cushion beside her and tried to think of something that didn't turn her on.

"Let's see," she thought. "Something that doesn't turn me on. Like gardening, jewelry and … pajamas."

Pajamas?! Viktor had come to greet her in his pajamas! They were black and looked to be made of silk. The robe he wore was long enough to drag the floor behind him and it was the darkest shade of red she had ever seen. His hair trailed down his back, hanging in waves which framed his face. She couldn't control her heartbeat any more when she realized he wasn't wearing a shirt … or shoes. She had never had a foot fetish, but looking at Viktor's feet, it didn't seem like such a bad idea.

"My Hellcat," he said softly, and his sultry voice felt like a hand going up her thigh. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Catrina placed a hand over her heart in an attempt to slow it down. Though the gesture was subtle, it was not lost on the master vampire. He had always known she deliberately blocked his charms. Who'd have thought that all it took to break past her barrier was a little exposed flesh?

"I've come to discuss the business matter you brought up a few nights ago," she said, her voice surprisingly steady.

"How wonderful," he said.

Viktor leaned forward and extended a hand toward her. He wasn't just offering to help her stand, he was asking for an unspoken answer. He knew that she would not speak of their arrangement in front of the guards and the servants. But if she took his hand it meant that she was in agreement with what he had suggested.

She knew what he was trying to do and gave herself permission to enjoy the feel of his long fingers as they gently squeezed her hand.

"Please, come with me," he said silkily.

Catrina rose to her feet and found that the touch of Viktor's hand made her feel lightheaded. Had it been because she had wanted to touch him for so long? Or was it a part of his vampiric powers?

"A little of both, I imagine," he said softly as he led her down a corridor.

"What?" she stammered.

"You were wondering which had caused you to be lightheaded, my powers or the fact that you have denied yourself my touch for so long."

She gasped. "You can read my mind?"

"Always could, my dear, if you hadn't blocked me for so long." He laughed softly at her shocked expression. "Do not be alarmed. I can see where the full effect of my powers might come as a great shock to someone who has not allowed herself to feel them before. Seeing your reaction is also a pleasure I have long been denied. Indulge me."

They reached the end of the long corridor and the vampire leaned around her to open a door. His hair spilled across her face and Catrina breathed deeply of the sweet scent of his shampoo.

"Viktor," she said, and it came out as more of a moan.

"Yes." He said so much with that one word and it was nearly more than she could take.

"Maybe I shouldn't …"

"Do not fear me," he whispered as he tugged her gently forward and through the door.

The hand which he still held felt so small inside his own. Viktor was overcome with the urge to both protect and devour her.

Catrina's own thoughts were along the same lines. Viktor had never looked better and that was saying a lot because he had always looked damn good. She had come here with every intention of discussing business, yet pleasure was all that she could think of. She reminded herself that it had been a year since she'd had sex and that relationship hadn't lasted long.

"Such a shame," Viktor commented as he led her down a long staircase.

"Stop it," she said and he stopped instantly in his tracks.

"What is it you wish me to stop, leading you to my bedroom or telling you the truth about yourself?"

My sexy new contemporary erotic romance Librarian By Day is out and it's available from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid!

Naughty By Night!

Shy, reserved librarian Jennifer Davidson has a secret side that few people know about. She writes erotic spanking romances on the side. She’s never been spanked herself, but when her boyfriend stumbles across one of her books, all that changes.

Nik Evans has always hoped there was a bad girl hiding underneath his prim, proper librarian, but even he is surprised when they begin to explore her fantasies and he finds out just how naughty she can be.

Soon, Jennifer is embarking on a sensual journey of discovery in which she learns that having her bottom warmed for real is better than anything she’d ever written about in her books.

Excerpt:
Jennifer gave her boyfriend a worried look as she set her purse down on the table just inside the entryway of her apartment. Nik had been distracted all evening and she couldn’t help but wonder if everything was okay between the two of them. Even though they had only been dating for a couple months, she was really starting to fall for him, and she hated to think that tonight’s dinner was some sort of bizarre precursor to breaking up with her. Her heart squeezed at the thought.

Not that she should be all that surprised. After dating her for a while, most guys came to the conclusion that she was way too reserved, especially in the bedroom. She really wasn’t, though. She was just naturally shy, which meant that it took a little while for her to be comfortable enough to be herself with them. Of course, they usually didn’t hang around long enough to find that out.

Jennifer had felt comfortable with Nik right away, though, and the sex had been great between them from the start. Or at least, she thought so. Sure, she wasn’t quite as adventurous in the bedroom as the girls she read about in Cosmo, but she thought she did okay. But Nik’s behavior tonight seemed to indicate that maybe she was still being a little too tame. Darn it, why couldn’t she be more like the heroines in her books? They never seemed to have a problem holding a man’s interest. And they were never shy in the bedroom. Or anywhere else they had sex, for that matter!

But as Nik took her hand and pulled her into his arms for a long, slow, intoxicating kiss, Jennifer gradually felt her misgivings begin to disappear. A man didn’t kiss a girl this way if he was going to break up with her, she told herself.

When Nik lifted his head several moments later to regard her thoughtfully, however, Jennifer felt some of her unease return. Here it comes, she thought, and braced herself.

“You know,” he said, reaching up to gently brush her hair back from her face. “You kept me waiting quite a long time while you were getting ready earlier.”

Her brow furrowed, confused at his words. “I did?”

He nodded. “You did.”

She felt her face color. “I didn’t mean to. It’s just that I was running late at work, and then I had to stop at the store…” She caught her lower lip between her teeth. “I’m sorry.”

Nik’s dark eyes were appraising as he studied her. “I’m sure you are,” he said. “But I think you might need something to help you manage your time better so that you don’t do it again, don’t you? Like a spanking, let’s say.”

Jennifer blinked up at her tall, handsome boyfriend, sure she hadn’t heard him right. “Wh-what?”

He nodded. “A spanking,” he said matter-of-factly. “I’ve heard it can be a very effective way to modify bad behavior.”

Jennifer’s eyes went wide at that. Who was this guy, and what had he done with her boyfriend? Before she could think of something to say in reply, however, Nik took her hand in his and led her over to the couch. She was so stunned that she didn’t even protest when he sat down and gently guided her over his knee so that she was lying stretched out across his lap. Even if she hadn’t been robbed of speech, she wouldn’t have protested anyway. She had secretly fantasized about getting spanked for years, so much so that she had started writing about it, and tonight that fantasy was finally going to become a reality! But how had Nik known she wanted to be spanked?

Her pulse quickened as she felt her boyfriend firmly place one hand on the small of her back. The simple action was enough to send a little quiver of excitement through her, and she almost let out a moan. As eager as she was for this spanking, though, she couldn’t help but be a little nervous at the same time. Would having her bottom reddened sting as much as she had imagined? Would she like it much as the heroines in her books did? Would she get as turned on as they did? As her boyfriend placed his other hand on her skirt-covered bottom, she realized she was about to find out!

New Release: Original Sin

Original Sin is the fourth book in the Lilith Mercury: Werewolf Hunter Series by Tracey H. Kitts, available now from New Concepts Publishing.

“I warned you,” he breathed against my ear. “Allowing me such access can be very dangerous.”

He had not moved, however, his voice seemed to float from one ear to the other, tickling along my skin. Alek knew this trick too, but Alek wasn’t this sexy.

“I assure you, I am not trying to seduce you. In fact, I am withholding a great deal of my power. If I were to desire it, I could capture your mind,” he whispered.

His voice flowed over me once again and I broke the contact, mentally and physically.

We were once again on the couch in my sitting room, and I was no longer touching Dracula. I looked around and realized by how much the candles had melted that we had been in contact for quite a while.

“Do not be afraid,” he said calmly.

I was already less apprehensive when his voice didn’t try to make love to me anymore.

“I would never take advantage of your invitation,” he said reasonably. “It takes practice to resist me.” He smiled and just that subtle curve of lips set me on fire.

“Well, I’ll work on it,” I panted.

“Perhaps it is the lack of sex,” he said. After the look I gave him he added, “Or perhaps it is none of my business.”

When I rose from the couch he followed me into the kitchen. My craving for chocolate had been eliminated, but I was dying of thirst. I could feel his eyes on me as I walked toward the refrigerator.

“Thank you,” he said softly. “I really do appreciate what you did. I know it seems a simple thing to be able to taste chocolate, but it is a pleasure I have long been denied.”

I turned back to him as I said, “I thought vampires lost their taste for food. Or, I should say their desire.”

He laughed. “You believe that? We all have things we miss. To some it might be wine, which I was also fond of, to others it might be a nice rare steak. The point is, we remember what it was like to experience these things. The ones who say how wonderful it is to be vampire and how they do not miss the human element are full of shit.”

Dracula followed me back into the sitting room while I laughed at his comment. Another thought occurred to me then. “Why did you come here tonight?”

I lit a few more candles around the room while I waited for his reply.

“Do I need a reason to see my partner?”

“No,” I answered with a smile, “But you always have one.”

“Yes.” He smiled and it made his eyes sparkle in a different way than his usual wicked grin. “I came to invite you to the opening of my club.”

Dracula had neglected to tell me when he began construction on his nightclub; however, I had heard it on the news. I just assumed he was waiting to surprise me once it was completed. I was right.

“I was wondering when you planned to tell me about that,” I said, as I took a water bottle from the fridge.

“My deepest apologies.” He smiled as he removed a small ivory envelope from his shirt. “I wanted to wait until it was finished before I mentioned it to you. Please do not think I have left you out. Yours is the first invitation I have extended, and the only one I will personally deliver.”

“Thank you,” I said as I took the envelope.

“Will you be coming?”

Another question with a double meaning.

“Yes, I’ll be there. I wouldn’t miss it.”

He smiled and I was once again grateful to have eyes.

“I have another surprise for you,” he said. “But this one I will save for opening night.”

My heart fluttered unpleasantly. I didn’t like waiting for anything. I also didn’t enjoy anticipation of some unknown event. For example, if someone says, “we need to talk,” I practically cringe on cue.

He read my expression. “It is not an unpleasant surprise, my angel,” he said softly. And then he kissed me. His lips were suddenly on mine and I couldn’t refuse him. Honestly, I didn’t want to. His kiss was unexpected and welcome. It was like being given a present you hadn’t expected. Dracula had had years to practice, and his kiss could be considered a work of art. He touched the right places, inspired the correct emotion. It was a dance, just as surely as if we were on a dance floor, and I responded. I let myself enjoy it thoroughly before I pulled away.

“You should go,” I whispered.

“Have I done something wrong?”

“It’s the wrong time of the month,” I lied.

“For whom?” he replied sarcastically.

“Go home, Vlad,” I said more firmly.

“As you wish.” He bowed slightly and headed for the door.

I followed him, and as he stepped onto the porch I couldn’t resist saying, “I’ll be thinking about you.”

“Be careful that you do not think too hard. You might slip into my mind. My mind is like a comfortable silk robe, easy to get into. But if you are not careful, you cannot untie the belt to remove it.”

“Oh, I don’t think we’ll be removing any belts this evening,” I teased.

And with that, I gently closed the door on his smiling face.

I wasn’t lying when I said I would be thinking about him. In fact, several hours later, I fell asleep thinking about him. But, I consoled myself by saying that I was only thinking. I would never cheat on Marco. Dracula had initiated the kiss, and that was not my fault. Although, I had enjoyed it. But let’s be honest, who wouldn’t enjoy a kiss from Dracula?

As I felt myself drifting closer toward theta brain waves, I continued to think about Dracula to avoid thinking about Peter. I didn’t want to have sad dreams, and I didn’t want to wake Alek and ask him to give me another dream. He had gone to bed before Dracula arrived, saying he didn’t feel well, and I wanted to let him rest.

So with visions of vampires dancing in my head, I finally fell asleep. This was a mistake.

Original Sin is part of a series with reoccurring characters. However, each book has a different plot and can stand on its own.

He said, “Do you know how much I’ve wanted to kiss you?” She stumbled. Her grip tightened as she regained her balance, and he added softly, “All over?”

Her laughter was a little breathless. Under his finger on her wrist, her pulse raced, and he knew he still affected her. He felt exultant. If he got any harder, he wouldn’t be able to walk. But he made no effort to hide his erection, and when he saw her gaze flicker down to it and linger, he was fiercely glad.

“So, where is this apartment of yours?” he asked as they passed the cafĂ©.

“Next turning,” she said, and coughed a little as if to hide the trembling of her voice. Was she scared of him or—surely not now—just as desperate as he was to make love?

“Are you going to invite me in?” he asked.

She smiled nervously. “For coffee?” she teased.

“I was thinking of the hot sex again, but coffee’s a start.”

She laughed, and he caressed the soft skin between her thumb and forefinger. At the side of the bakery, she led him through a gate and up a rickety flight of steps to a tiny garden. There, while he gazed over the darkened roofs, she unlocked the French doors.

“Quick,” she said, “before the mosquitoes get in.”

He brushed past her into the house. She snapped the light on, saying, “Coffee, then?”

“Stuff the coffee,” said Giancarlo roughly, reaching for her with both hands. Her shoulders were soft and warm under his fingers, setting the blood pounding afresh in his tortured body. Her green eyes looked huge as they gazed up into his, betraying hope as well as anxiety and, when he slid his fingers under the straps of her dress, a desire surely as fierce as his own. “I want my kiss,” he whispered, easing the straps away so they fell down her arms. With one finger, he traced the neckline of her dress as it dropped lower across her breasts, stroking as far as the bra would let him.

Her skin was flushed, her breathing too quick and unsteady. He bent his head, noticing with fierce triumph that her lips parted for him, as if of their own volition. A moment longer, he let his lips hover there, increasing the anticipation. Then, closing his palm over her breast, he took her mouth in his.

A sigh that was almost a moan broke from her. She opened for him at once, sweetly responsive. She tasted of coffee and tiramisu and something simply Via, and he couldn’t get enough of her. He caught her tongue around his, twisting, dancing, drawing it into his own mouth. As he deepened the kiss, she moaned again, pushing her body into him so hard that he stumbled back against the door. Her lips and teeth were suddenly wild, sucking and biting him to insanity while her body writhed against him.

Without breaking the astounding kiss, he grasped her by the waist, lifting her, turning her so he could hold her captive against the door and grind his hardness into her. At the same time, he pushed down her bra, seeking and finding her pebbled nipples, stroking over and over with his thumb, then pinching till she all but sobbed. Her hands were on his back, burrowing under his shirt, running all over his naked skin until he wondered if he was actually capable of drawing back now.

As if she heard his desperate thought, she gasped against his lips. “You said if you kissed me, you wouldn’t stop.”

“That was last week,” he said, and dived back into her mouth. He roved his hands over her hips, down her thighs, feeling with ferocious joy every tiny movement of her responsive flesh. His fingers caught the hem of her dress and tugged.

Tearing his lips free of hers for a moment, he whispered, “Do you know what I want to do?”

Laughter trembled on her swollen lips. “I could hazard a guess!”

He reached between her legs, making her gasp again. She was so hot, the wispy cotton covering her so wet, that he groaned with the genuine anguish of utter loss. But he wouldn’t stop, not yet. “I want to push my cock right inside you now, fuck you till you beg for mercy. Would you like that, Via? Would you?”

Her fingers grasped his arms. She pushed against the hand on her pussy, twisting. “Stop talking, Giancarlo,” she said shakily. “Just do it!”
